Sunderland Ski Slope
How to get there
Head north up the M1/A1. From A1 (Junction 62), take A690 (Direction Sunderland) and follow for about 9 miles. Cross 1st Roundabout (over A19) and straight over 2nd Roundabout (Board Inn, East Herrington) At next Roundabout (McDonalds on Right) turn RIGHT and Ski Centre entrance is on your left in about 500 yards.
Be careful if using a SatNav: use the published postcde of SR3 1PN and you'll will probably end up at the wrong end of the sports complex - a long way from the slope. Instead go to “North Moor Lane, Sunderland” and enter the sports complex from there.
Facilities
Small servery selling tea, coffee, pasties etc. On big events there is often an outside catering van.
The Slope
Long, quite wide slope with shallow rollers across it. Two lifts: one button tow, one Briton handle tow.
