Race Skis
Bartlett's are the main source for race skis. They carry stock all year round and often have a stall at races.
Elan race skis can be bought directly from importers GBR Sports.
Boots
Lockwoods in Leamington are generally regarded as the best place in the Midlands to get buy boots: allow plenty of time and ideally book a time in advance.
A bit further afield in Bicester, Colin at Solutions for Feet is one of the top boot-fitters in the country.
Helmets
You can now get helmets in most ski shops, but if you need one for racing you'll need one which is chin-guard compatible. White Mountain in Walsall usually have some, and Bartletts carry a wide selection.
Servicing Gear
A small selection of servicing gear will be found it most ski shops. For a bigger range and very convenient for races is Barletts.
Ski Racing Supplies stock a wide range at keen prices, and orders can often be picked up at races as they are run by a member of Pendle Ski Club.
Jon's Ski Tuning carries a decent selection of tools.
